During an advertising class in my senior year of college, I collaborated with a small group of students to create a marketing campaign for Central Coast Roller Derby, a charitable non-profit sports club benefiting the women and communities of the central coast. Our job was to create a campaign concept with the goal of recruiting new teammates, team officials, and audience members.
Responsibilities included campaign conception, media placement, talent recruiting, production contracting, art directing and managing all photoshoots, collateral design, and account management. We had the opportunity to collaborate and choose photographers from the Senior Photography class to make our vision come to life.
Our concept was chosen by the client among four other competing creative and production teams. Two years later our creative materials are still being used by the team.
